CONSUMER REPORT’S TOP VEHICLE PICKS OF 2008

Recently, Consumer Reports released their top vehicle picks of 2008. It is the time of the year that auto buyers and enthusiasts look forward. Surprisingly, there are new vehicle brands made to the list. Four of the new or redesigned vehicle models were included in it. And the good news is, a South Korean automaker made it to the top 10. Two Hyundai’s were also picked as one of the best on the overall categories.  Here are some of the vehicles included on the list; 

Chevrolet Silverado – still undefeated, Silverado stays on the list, though from the past few years, Asian vehicles have invaded the entire survey.

Hyundai Santa Fe, Hyundai Elantra SE, Lexus LS460L and the Chevy Silverado – these are the four redesigned vehicles. The Consumer Reports has actually chosen the best well-rounded vehicles in every segment based on the road test results, safety requirements and reliability. And these street machines passed the categories.

Honda Accord – This vehicle has been redesigned for 2008. Consumer Reports picked this car for the great features it offers which includes ride comfort, performance, refined power train, standard equipment electronic stability control and an excellent crash test result.

Infiniti G35 – Consumer Reports compliments the G35 for its excellent power train, cool style, agile handling and well-crafted interior. In fact, it is offered in three models – Base, G35 Journey and G35 Sport 6MT which are powered by the 3.5 liter 306 hp. Plus, these machines offers a great interior option like the Infiniti ipod Interface and 9.3 Gb Music Hard Drive.
